Explanation of Ken's funeral card:

Ken and I shared many things in common, one being our enjoyment of the Star Wars movies. Ken's enjoyment went a little beyond the "normal" sense. If you knew him, you'd smile at that. Ken could recite all the words to all the movies, would blow you away in a Star Wars video game, and collected items from the Star Wars series, which included a full-size Stormtrooper!

When I was asked to prepare a funeral card for my nephew, his parents wanted a Star Wars theme. They gave me a trading card which had an image of Luke Skywalker and Darth Vader in a sort of face to face stellar battle of good against evil. I took the card and replaced Luke's face with Ken's face making the above funeral card.

Ken also had a great love of Jesus and at the young age of 18, was chosen by myself and my husband Paul, Ken's uncle, to be our firstborn son's godfather. I was always proud of this young man. His life is and will always be an example to his family and friends. Ken found laughter and joy in everyone. Ken saw Jesus in all of us.
